PAC

Parent Advisory Council

The role of a Parent Advisory Council, or PAC, is to provide an opportunity for council members to be included in the planning, operation, and evaluation of the Migrant Education Program for their area.

A migrant PAC is comprised of a majority of migratory parents and/or guardians who are empowered to be advocates and supporters of the MEP for their children. Other members may include MEP staff, representatives from community agencies (stakeholders), and school district staff.
